We are looking for a dynamic, driven and ambitious Product Technician to join our growing Nokē team. Reporting directly to the Nokē Product Manager, the Product Technician will coordinate the planning, scheduling and installation of Nokē products across the United Kingdom and Europe.
Responsibilities and duties for the role will include:
Coordinate with Installers to insure installation of Nokē parts according to Janus specifications. Train new installers on Nokē products.
Ability to manage a high volume of projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
Work in conjunction with the Sales and Operations teams to determine necessary job components and proactively correct project concerns.
Coordinate with Operations to ensure Nokē projects are completed in timely manner.
Develop scope of work, to include detailed measurements and assessment of the requested work.
Monitor installer work performance.
Develop and maintain schedules of work and forecasts for completion projects within the allotted time frames.
Research and implement products, processes and services for continuous improvements in the delivery of results
Provide emergency response as requested by Janus customers
Providing technical assistance for questions and problems.
Diagnosing and fix software and hardware problems on site or over the phone.
Key Attributes / Skills:
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
Highly organised with time management skills and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with customers, installers and Janus internal colleagues.
A minimum of 2 years working with installers and understanding installation means and methods.
3+ years of previous construction project co-ordination experience preferred.
Knowledge and experience in access control systems, or a general engineering background preferred.
Experience in the development of scopes, budgets and schedules.
Possess a customer-centric attitude with the ability to collaborate.
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management
Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, Project.
The candidate needs excellent spoken and written English with any other European language/s an advantage
