Janus International Europe Granted AEO StatusSeptember 11, 2019
Janus Europe is delighted to announce that HMRC has granted the company Authorised Economic Operator status under Article 38 of Regulation (EU) No 952/2013 – the Union Customs Code (UCC). This certification gives companies operating within the Single Market and the Customs Union a clear advantage when exporting internationally.
The accreditation demonstrates that our role within the international supply chain is secure and will facilitate the movement of our goods post-Brexit. This is because the EU and the UK are expected to recognise each other’s AEO schemes in the post-Brexit environment. Additionally, AEO status confirms that our customs controls and procedures are efficient and compliant. The certification is also internationally recognised as a mark of quality.
Ultimately, this status means that we can continue to supply our valued customers, wherever they may be in continental Europe.
